Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi says reaching the last 16 of the Champions League is bigger than winning a trophy.
Lazio reach the knockout phase after their 2-2 draw with Club Brugge.
“We deserve to go through, we've never lost a game so far, we earned it," Inzaghi said.
“We played a great game even if we couldn't score the third goal. At the end of the first half I had players lying on the beds in the medical room. They didn't look great and I asked them for a sacrifice.
“The only regret is not celebrating with our fans because I imagine what could have happened at the Olimpico tonight. We gave them a joy and we are happy.
“This qualification is like a trophy for me, we suffered, it will be right to do an analysis of the last minutes of the game, we could have done better but it is right to celebrate now. We have to go ahead in the league, Saturday we will have an important match against Verona."
