Arsenal's torrid Premier League home form has continued after a 1-1 draw with Southampton on Wednesday.
The Gunners entered the match having lost four consecutive league games at the Emirates amidst their worst start to a season since 1959.
And Theo Walcott compounded Mikel Arteta's unenviable situation with an 18th minute goal.
The veteran winger showed no pity on his former side when he latched onto Che Adams' ball from deep before lifting the ball over Bernd Leno with a fantastic dink.
But the hosts found themselves back in the game early in the second-half through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Bukayo Saka was instrumental in the goal, beating a couple of defenders on the left-wing before connecting with Eddie Nketiah, who laid it off to Aubameyang for a smart finish.
The equaliser ended Arsenal's 797 minute wait for a goal from open play in the Premier League.
But the Gunners were undone once again by ill-discipline as Gabriel was sent off after being booked twice in four minutes.
Both sides rattled the woodwork before the final whistle was blown, but the scores would remain level.
Saints now move up into third after Leicester lost to Everton, while Arsenal remain in 15th.
And speaking after the game, Arteta was annoyed after his side collected their seventh red-card since he took over in December last year.
"We didn't have time to think, we adjusted two or three things to try and win the game," Arteta said.
"The boys came out like we did three days ago, we scored a really good goal, on top in the game, and again we shoot ourselves in the foot."
On the red-card, Arteta added: "Very (disappointed) because in that moment I was thinking to change the centre back straight away - we didn't even have time to do that.
"In the end we got a point that considering the circumstances we have to accept."
