Fulham goalkeeper Alphonso Areola says he's happy with his move to London.

Areola is on a season-long loan from PSG.

He told RMC: “I feel very good physically, mentally I feel good.

"It could have been a difficult choice to make, but at some point you have to know how to come down. It is true that I lived beautifully years ago. It's not over, for me it's not over. It's true that last year with Real Madrid it was different again. I had this opportunity to go there to gain experience, in a different way, but it's something that made me grow.

"But it is true that I did not have enough playing time and, as I said to my entourage, I had to remain humble and go down perhaps one or two floors to be able to bounce back better."
