Mass Covid screening at Manggatal detention centre 

Kota Kinabalu: Mass Covid-19 screening has been conducted at the Manggatal temporary detention centre, says Datuk Masidi Manjun (pic).

The State Local Government and Housing Minister said the screenings were conducted on Wednesday (Dec 9) and Thursday (Dec 10). The results are expected to be out on Friday (Dec 11).

Masidi said the outcome is expected to contribute to a rise in positive cases in the State Capital.

“Results from the mass screenings are scheduled to be out tomorrow, and may see higher statistics of cases arising in Kota Kinabalu,” he said in a statement.

Kota Kinabalu recorded 67 new positive cases on Thursday from the total of 274 new cases Statewide.
