The son of Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has signed with the club's academy.
11-year-old Kai Rooney put pen to paper on his first United contract on Thursday.
Kai will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of his famous father, who scored 253 goals across 13-year spell with the Red Devils.
Rooney, who is interim player-coach at Derby County, posted a photo on Twitter to announce the news.
He wrote: "Proud day. Kai signing for @ManUtd. Keep up the hard work son."
