Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross was left frustrated after their 2-1 defeat to Southampton on Monday night.
Gross spoke in the aftermath of the defeat at Falmer stadium, admitting great frustration at the late penalty won by the visitors and converted by fit-again striker Danny Ings.
However, the German concedes Brighton should be doing better after surrendering yet another 1-0 lead this season.
The result sees Saints jump into fifth place on the table, while south coast rivals Brighton are now 16th.
