Kuala Lumpur: Tuaran Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau (pic) expressed shock that expenses for development on main roads in Sabah was only allocated RM100 under the Works Ministry in Budget 2021. Hence, he said, he sent two more motions to recommend proposals to the Secretary of the House of Representatives of the Parliament that could benefit development of roads in Sabah as well as Sarawak. According to him, the motion is to deduct RM1,000,000,000 (RM1billion) from the allocation for the peninsula under the activity referred to as “Other Construction” (Lain-Lain Pembinaan) which has been allocated with RM1,029,145,700.
