Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has spoken about a possible loan recall for midfielder Lucas Torreira.
The Uruguayan is at Atletico Madrid for the season.
He was down the pecking order at Arsenal at the end of last term, but injuries and a loss of form mean he may be a more important option if he returns.
When asked about Torreira, Arteta told a press conference: "We have been dealing with that situation.
"But again, when the market opens and we have the possibility to bring players in and get players out, whatever we have to do, we will discuss it. I cannot comment on that."
The Gunners are enduring a miserable start to their Premier League season and find themselves languishing in 15th place.
