Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini admitted frustration after their 1-1 draw with Juventus.
Gasperini felt they did enough to win the game at the end.
"It's a great result against a strong Juventus. At some point we were also convinced to win, but we played the game we wanted, and in the end we felt we could win it," Gasperini said.
"We missed a few final passes that could have been decisive for the goal. In the second half we did fewer mistakes but we missed the knockout. In these games episodes like the penalty can make you lose the game.
“[Pierluigi] Gollini was amazing. He saved a penalty on Ronaldo, who misses one in a hundred. We are happy for Gollini, a little less for [Wojciech] Szczesny," he said laughing.
“He made a great save on Romero, I thought it was a goal," he added.
