Former Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is being linked with Mikel Arteta's job at Arsenal.
The Sunday Mirror reports the Arsenal hierarchy are keen to bring Benitez back to the Premier League.
The 60-year-old is currently in charge of Chinese Super League side Dalian Pro but he is fed up with being stuck in a relegation dogfight.
Benitez won the Champions League during his six years spent as Liverpool boss, before going on to manage Inter Milan, Chelsea, Napoli and Real Madrid.
He has a lot of admirers in the Arsenal hierarchy and is the first choice candidate to replace Arteta.
However, after victory over Chelsea on Saturday pressure has eased on Arteta.
