Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was happy to see Raheem Sterling score in victory over Fulham.
Sterling scored an early opener, before Kevin De Bruyne netted a first half penalty to secure victory in Guardiola's 700th career game as a manager, and 250th as City boss.
"Raheem always tries." he said.
"I have no doubts, for a striker it's always important to score goals and that's what he's done, so it's good."
The win now moves City up to fourth in the league table on 18 points, three behind joint leaders Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
