Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) has set as its halatuju (direction) to expand its wings to Peninsular Malaysia and reposition itself as a national party, with a call towards Malaysian unity. Its President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the party must chart the way forward, which he believes they can do, for this change to come in the future, to enable them to not only take over the helm of administration in Sabah but also at the national level. He said Sabah and a friend in Borneo (Sarawak) have been the determinant of the country’s key economic resources for 60 years, and thus it is time for Sabah to not only involve in negotiation but also its leaders to be among those pulling the strings in Malaysia.
