UMS holds online poll to elect Student Rep Council

Kota Kinabalu: Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) holds an online campus election (PRK) on Friday 18 to elect the Student Representative Council (MPP) for the 2020/2021 session.

These include the nomination session, a three-day election campaign starting Dece 15, a voting session on Dec 18 and the announcement of results on Dec 19.

According to a source from the UMS election committee, a total of 15 candidates will contest for seven general seats at the mother campus, while three candidates will contest for two seats at UMS Labuan International Campus.

For a seat at UMS Sandakan Campus, Sustainable Agriculture Faculty Student Yaslan Yadoh was declared the winner without contesting.
