The family of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar favours a move to Arsenal.
Arsenal have made contact with Aouar's family again ahead of the summer market, the AFC Bell reports.
The Arabic language site, which broke the news of Thomas Partey's imminent arrival in October, states that the club has sent a clear signal to the player that Mikel Arteta is ready to build the team around him.
And the player's grandfather, who is one of three key members of his inner circle, would reportedly be keen on the deal having been one of those who most welcomed the Gunners' interest in summer.
However, Aouar's agent is said to be less convinced as he would like to see Aouar playing Champions League football.
