Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Scott McTominay and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play no part in their Carabao Cup tie with Everton on Wednesday night.
The news comes as a major blow to the Red Devils boss ahead of the quarter-final clash, as McTominay produced a masterful display in midfield in United's last outing.
The 24-year-old scored twice in the first three minutes - the fastest double in Premier League history - as United crushed Leeds 6-2 at Old Trafford.
Right-back Wan-Bissaka, meanwhile, has been a mainstay in the starting XI, making 19 appearances in all competitions this season.
Solskjaer said, "Those two will miss the game against Everton definitely.
"Hopefully, it won't be too long. They'll be out but, apart from that, I think everyone is, more or less, okay."
