New Permanent Secretary 

DEPUTY Chief Minister-cum-Industrial Development Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam (second left) presented the letter of appointment to new Permanent Secretary of the Industrial Development Ministry, Thomas Logijin, (third right) in a brief ceremony held at the Ministry in Kota Kinabalu on Friday. Logijin, who was previously the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) of the same Ministry, succeeded Datuk Madiyem Layapan who went on a compulsory retirement last Monday. 

Dr Joachim hopes his appointment will continue to ensure smooth implementation of programmes under the ministry. Ministry’s Deputy Permanent Secretary, Tsue Kei Yue, and Tommie Philip, Director of the Department of Industrial Development and Research (DIDR), were also present.
