Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is unlikely to seek a replacement for Robin Koch in January.

The defender has just undergone knee surgery and won't be seen again for three months.

Bielsa said, "The operation went well and the length of his absence depends on developments, but he will probably be absent for three months.

"It's a shame to miss him for so long, but it's normal for a team to suffer such injuries during a season."

But the manager added: "We are not thinking of the possibility of bringing another central defender into the team."
