Jose Mourinho believes Gareth Bale will be fit to face Liverpool on Wednesday.
Bale missed Sunday's draw with Crystal Palace.
But Mourinho was adamant he would return for the trip to Anfield.
"He was ill, not Covid, not even flu that keeps you in bed for a week," Mourinho said of the Real Madrid loanee, who has started just one league game since returning to north London in the summer.
"I believe for Wednesday he will be fine."
