Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder admits there's no youngster in the academy capable of making the step up.
Due to the speed of which United have rose through the divisions from League One, it means those players in the age groups immediately below the first team are not quite at the standard needed for this division.
The two closest, Rhys Norrington-Davies and Regan Slater, are currently on loan in the Championship and League One respectively with Luton and Hull.
"No disrespect, but if you look at Arsenal's academy and you look at our academy it's poles apart," Wilder admitted.
"Those players that they are bringing in, Saka for example, is an England international, Martinelli, Smith-Rowe, they are top players.
"No disrespect, but we are an incredible planet away from where Arsenal are.
"If there were any young kids who I felt would benefit from playing in this team at the moment or give us a hand, then I would but we haven't got that quality.
"A 14-year-old kid who signs for Sheffield United four years ago when we are mid-table in League One is possibly not expected to go and play in a Premier League fixture at 18 and that's the difference for the football club and where we are at."
