Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp accused Scott Parker of going route one for their draw with Fulham on Sunday.
The Reds drew 1-1 at Craven Cottage, with Klopp also admitting the home fans were a factor and made things even more difficult for his players.
However, the German says Parker choosing to go direct with long balls made a difference for the Cottagers.
The result leaves Liverpool in second-place on goal difference from leaders Tottenham, which also drew against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
