Brighton boss Graham Potter was left frustrated after their 2-2 draw at West Ham.

Neal Maupay put Albion ahead just before the break at the London Stadium, but the Irons were back on level terms when Ben Johnson curled home on the hour mark.

Lewis Dunk crashed home his first of the season to put the visitors back in the lead, but Tomas Soucek nodded in late on.

“It feels a bit like a win that has got away from us," Potter said. “We're disappointed not to take three points, it was there for us, but it wasn't to be.

"We're frustrated we haven't won; performance-wise we were the team that was closer to getting the three points. That doesn't matter though, you have got to earn it. We have to keep working to get the three points.

“We deserved to be ahead at half time, we had been the better team and we had chances. There's a bit of a response from West Ham in the second half and we could have been a little bit smarter.

“But in the end we got the goal through Lewis and we could have managed the situation. We didn't do too much wrong apart from the second goal, that's what we're disappointed with."
