Barcelona will make a take-it-or-leave-it offer to Manchester City for Eric Garcia next month.
While confident they will take Garcia next summer as a free agent when his contract expires, Barca are willing to cough up in January to sign him immediately.
However, Mundo Deportivo says Barca won't go higher than €5m to take the youngster off City's hands.
The Catalans were quoted €30m in October by City for Garcia, though there is hope of a rethink with the defender having fallen well down the selection pecking order.
The Spain international has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, but Garcia's focus is on a return to Barca in 2021.
