Manchester City attacker Kevin de Bruyne has brought in a lawyer to assist in new contract negotiations.
The Belgium international had been conducting talks himself with City management, but things have stalled in recent weeks.
HLN reports the new offer - which is performance-based - would be for less money than De Bruyne is currently earning.
As such, he's called on a lawyer to now represent him.
De Bruyne has taken on law firm, Atfield, which takes care of several Belgium internationals.
