Hertha Berlin have granted permission to departing defender Omar Rekik to undergo a medical at Arsenal.
The highly-rated defender is yet to make his first-team debut for the Bundesliga side, and Rekik would link up with the Gunners' under 23s should he make the move to London, reports BILD.
Arsenal will reportedly pay a fee of around €600,000 (£530,000) for the 19-year-old.
A deal was struck on deadline day in October, but both clubs ran out of time to complete the necessary paperwork.
Rekik teased fans earlier this month by posting a photo at an airport with London tagged as the location.
