Former Belgium striker Marc Degryse believes the Manchester City job is waiting for Vincent Kompany.
The City great is beginning to turn results around in his second season in charge of Anderlecht.
Degryse told Het Laatste Nieuws : "But indeed, without his beginner mistakes the process could have gone even faster.
"And if he becomes champion with Anderlecht, the door will immediately open at Manchester City.
"(Pep) Guardiola will not stay there forever, hey?"
