Former Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Wojciech Kowalewski insists Aleksandr Maksimenko can handle a Premier League move.
The Spartak keeper is being linked with West Ham United this month.
Kowalewski told Sport-Express: “If it comes down to specifics, then Maksimenko should try his hand at the Premier League. He has all the qualities for the English league. And if Aleksandr shows himself, then he can safely play the Premier League.
"Aleksandr is a young goalkeeper who can prove himself at the European level. Of course, no one guarantees him a place at the base, but everything is in his hands."
