Kota Kinabalu: Vegetable farmers in Kundasang are experiencing a huge drop in daily sales following a travel ban imposed by neighbouring Brunei.

On Tuesday (Jan 12), Brunei Home Affairs Minister Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Dr Abu Bakar Apong announced a ban on commercial vehicles travelling from Sarawak to Sabah vice versa across Brunei’s border on Jan 13-26.

Kundasang Agriculture Operators Association President Simon Leong (pic) said the number of lorries collecting daily fresh produce significantly dropped since the ban was imposed in Brunei.
