Everton are exploring the prospect of re-signing Djibril Sidibe from AS Monaco.
The France international right-back made 28 appearances last season on-loan for the Blues in total but returned to Monaco last summer.
L'Equipe says Sidibe is on a list of players Monaco are likely to move on in January, having found himself supplanted at left-back by Caio Henrique and Ruben Aguilar on the right.
The player is said to be thinking about a return to England after his spell with Everton last year, having seemingly enjoyed his time on Merseyside.
Indeed, he would jump at the chance ot return to Goodison Park should Everton make contact.
