Repair on burst Kudat water pipelines almost done: YB

KUDAT: Works carried out by the Kudat Water Department to repair the water pipeline burst in Mukim Tambuluran and Mukim Nangka Pinawantai, here, are expected to be completed soon. 

Matunggong Assemblywoman, Datuk Julita Mojungki, said repair works are progressing well and had reached 70 per cent completion. She added that water supply is being resumed to the affected villages. 

The Assistant Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister said this after she checked on the progress of the repair works at the site on Wednesday.

She was accompanied by Kudat District Water Engineer, Khairul Faizi, Assistant District Officer, Francis Chong and Matunggong PPM, Marius Masain, among others.
