JPKK urged to assist govt deliver services

PUTATAN: Community Development and Welfare Minister Ir Shahelmey Yahya (pic) called on the workforce at grassroots level to continue assisting the government in delivering existing services.

Citing Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK), he said, play an important role as the eyes and ears of the government to know the various issues faced by the people.

“JPKK is a leadership structure at the grassroots level. It is a bridge to the grassroots level with the government and also non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

“We must make sure that JPKK is alert with the current needs. Think about the development of basic needs of the people that are necessary or that we must complete in their respective areas,” he said.
