Released Crystal Palace midfielder Max Meyer is set to return to Germany this month.
Meyer was released from his contract at Palace by mutual consent over the weekend. His deal was due to expire in June.
Sport1 says Hoffenheim are interested in the free agent.
However, the Bundesliga club have not yet begun formal negotiations with Meyer.
The 25-year-old did not see any playing time in the Premier League this season.
