Nice are shopping in England for a new defender.
Le 10 Sport says Nice's priority is to sign Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho.
Sakho comes off contract in June and is keen on the move, but his wage demands are proving a problem.
Talks are continuing, though Nice have an alternative option in Fulham stopper Maxime Le Marchand.
The 31 year-old, like Sakho, is open to a return to France this month.
