Manchester United are maintaining a watching brief for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare.
Soumare has been linked with a move to United as they seek a replacement for wantaway senior midfielder Paul Pogba.
RMC's Mohamed Bouhafsi has confirmed United's interest - though Lille are yet to receive any formal approach.
Bouhafsi says United have been following Soumare "for several seasons" and is rated highly by the club's top level scouting team.
But, for now, no contact has been made with LOSC nor Soumare's minders.
