Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was delighted with matchwinner Mason Mount for yesterday's 1-0 defeat of Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Mount struck the only goal of the game to cap an impressive performance from the England international - and so winning praise from his manager.
Lampard also admits he was concerned going into the derby, conceding Fulham had displayed the better form ahead of the game. Indeed, he says Chelsea NEEDED the win to snap their dismal run of form in the Premier League since Christmas.
Lampard also says the spirit showed to see out the victory was particularly pleasing.
