Olympique Marseille have slashed their asking price for Morgan Sanson.
The Times says Aston Villa are in talks with OM about signing the midfield schemer this month.
And having rejected a €30m offer from West Ham United over the summer for Sanson, OM are now willing to sell for €18m.
Aston Villa had also held talks with OM last summer for Sanson and now negotiations have resumed.
For his part, the 26 year-old is eager to see the move happen after falling out with OM coach Andre Villas-Boas this term.
