Former Everton captain Phil Neville is set to become Inter Miami boss having left his role as manager of England Women.

Neville had been set to step down as manager of the Lionesses after this summer's Euros though is now set to take over at David Beckham's MLS club.

Inter Miami boss Diego Alonso left the club by mutual consent recently having guided the side to tenth in the 14-team Eastern Conference in his sole season in charge.

And Neville is now free to reunite with his former Manchester United team-mate having left his role with the FA.

The Daily Mail claim Inter Miami will make a formal announcement in the next 24 hours with Neville reportedly agreeing a two-year deal.
