Real Madrid won't be the last club of Karim Benzema's career.
So says his long time agent, Karim Djaziri, who insists the striker wants to close out his playing days back with formative club, Olympique Lyon.
Djaziri told Inside Goes: "Will Karim Benzema return to Lyon? Yes, I honestly think so. He talks to me constantly and watches all the team's games. On top of that, he has never been to the Groupama Stadium (that Lyon opened for Euro 2016). In his mind it is something he wants, he has Lyon in his heart.
"There is everything in Lyon for Karim. He does not want to go back to Lyon if he does not have the necessary physique. He is torn between leaving the best club in the world and returning to Lyon, it is a matter of time.
"In his dreams, it is to return to Lyon and do great things. Wearing the captain's armband with young people can be magical."
Benzema's contract in Madrid expires in 2022.
