Kota Kinabalu: The special Task Force that was in charge of Sabah’s temporary detention centres will still function although the operations of all four centres have been handed over to the Immigration Department.National Security Council (NSC) state director Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof (pic) said there would be no dismantling of the special task force despite the handing over of duties. She said the special task force for Sabah and Labuan would now focus on matters such as overseeing issues linked to illegal immigrants.

“They include planning and coordinating issues and policies in the management of illegal immigrants in the state,” she said when contacted.
