Liverpool have stepped up interest in Lille defender Sven Botman.
The Daily Star says Liverpool are in talks with Lille over a potential January swoop for Botman.
The 20-year-old centre-back has emerged as possible target for Jurgen Klopp with Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez currently on the treatment table.
He joined Lille for £7million in the summer from Ajax's Under-21 side.
