West Bromwich Albion are closing in on the signature of Mbaye Diagne on loan.
The 29-year-old striker has gone through a medical and is waiting for a work permit before he can travel to England.
The Senegal international will join the club in a loan with an option to buy deal.
He has scored 11 goals in 19 games this term.
A striker was manager Sam Allardyce's prime target this winter, and he will be happy to have gotten his man.
West Brom are in the relegation zone and will need to pick up their form substantially if they are to survive.
