Genoa are seeking to re-sign Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
Sokratis is off contract in June and free to speak with foreign clubs.
TMW says Genoa are making a move to bring the veteran back to Serie A.
Sokratis played for Genoa from 2008-10 before moving on to Werder Bremen.
Genoa are actively seeking to strengthen their team this month after rehiring coach Davide Ballardiini for the second-half of the season.
