Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are set to miss out on moves for Djibril Sidibé.
The defender was on loan at Everton last season, getting his first taste of the Premier League.
Sidibé has been in and out of the starting lineup with Monaco this season in Ligue 1.
It has prompted talk of a January move, with Palace and the Magpies interested.
But France Football suggests Sidibé will stay put this winter.
The magazine believes Sidibé should not move, indicating he has started the last two games under Niko Kovac.
