Liverpool are in talks to sign West Ham United defender Issa Diop.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed they're making an attempt to bring in a new centre-half signing before Monday night's deadline.
Fussball Transfers says Liverpool's top target is Diop, who has been on their scouting list for the past two seasons.
Contact has been made in the last week and Diop is keen on the move.
A loan with the option to buy permanently in June is set to be put forward to the Irons, with the two clubs to face eachother later today.
