Manchester United are set to cut loose Polish defender Lukasz Bejger.

The Manchester Evening News says Bejger is set to leave United this month.

Bejger, who turned 19 this week, is believed to be returning to his native Poland after two-and-a-half years in Manchester.

United bought Bejger from Lech Poznan in the summer of 2018 amid competition from Manchester City and the teenager started in all five FA Youth Cup games in the run to the semi-finals last year.

Bejger has only started three times for the Under-23s this season and his contract expires in the summer.
