PWD to repair damaged bridges, roads: Bung

Kota Kinabalu: The State Public Works Department (PWD) will immediately repair some damaged roads and bridges due to continuous rain and floods in several districts.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin (pic), who is also Public Works Minister, said he received reports from the PWD on these roads and the district engineers had inspected the problems before filing a detailed report on them.

“Apart from Pitas, the department also received reports on damaged roads and bridges in Kota Marudu and Beluran,” he said in a statement, Thursday.

He said among them were Jalan Langkon-Pitas, Jalan Maringgan, Jalan Suang Duyung-Layak-Layak, Jalan Sosop Bal, Jalan Ulu Malubang, Jalan Mongkubou Laut and Jalan Telaga.
