Everton have joined the battle for Manchester United fullback Brandon Williams.
The Manchester Evening News says the 20-year-old is keen for a temporary exit after just six minutes of Premier League action this season – and would prefer to stay in the Premier League.
Alex Telles' arrival pushed Williams down to third-choice, with Luke Shaw also ahead of him.
Newcastle emerged as favourites for a loan deal, reportedly agreeing terms in principle.
But The Athletic reports seventh-placed Everton are now also in for the Manchester-born England Under-21 star.
