Virgil van Dijk has reunited with former Liverpool teammate Dejan Lovren in Dubai.
The Dutchman has been working on his fitness in Dubai as he steps up his recovery from knee surgery.
It is unknown whether van Dijk will return this season.
And Lovren has wished the Liverpool star all the best for his rehabilitation.
“It was nice to see my former teammate Virgil today,' the former Liverpool centre-back tweeted.
“A tough injury he had, but he looks stronger than ever, soon brother you will be on top of your level again.
“Good luck to Liverpool in today's derby. We are with you!"
