Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was keen to pay tribute to Mesut Ozil after victory over Newcastle United last night.
Ozil, now in Istanbul, is to undergo a medical ahead of signing forms with Fenerbahce after securing a release from his Arsenal contract over the weekend.
Arteta insists Arsenal will miss the midfielder, though was also keen to add that Buyako Saka and Emile Smith Rowe deserve their place in his team plans.
The Gunners manager had failed to register Ozil for both the Premier League and Europa League at the start of the season.
