Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Tennis Association President Johnson Koh (pic) has proposed to Lawn Tennis Association Malaysia (LTAM) to appoint women representatives in their line-up during their recent executive meeting via Zoom.

LTAM President Mirzan Mahathir had earlier disclosed that it is necessary to have the participation of women members as required by International Tennis Federation (ITF).

Johnson, who is also Vice President of LTAM, said it is better for the national body to set an example with the involvement of women in their affiliates.

He also suggested that Mirzan should have the power for the appointment of any women into the main or sub-committee, which was supported by all the executive members.
