Elderly motorcyclist dies after hitting pothole

KUALA LUMPUR: A 75-year-old man has died after hitting a pothole and falling off his motorcycle in Jalan Tengah, here, reported The Star.

It was also reported that Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Asst Comm Zulkefly Yahya in a statement, Sunday, said the police were notified of the accident at 7.30am, Sunday, which occurred after the motorcyclist lost control of his machine.

“Preliminary investigations showed that the motorcyclist was riding over a pothole, leading to the victim falling to the ground," he said.

He also said the victim died at the scene of the accident.
